Brock Lesnar’s WWE Future Reportedly ‘Top Secret’

Brock Lesnar’s current run with WWE may be winding down. The Wrestling Observer Newsletter notes that “there were reports Lesnar had told people he’d be leaving soon and within the company the word had circulated.”

It appears that the initial report the Observer is referencing is one from PWInsiderElite.com earlier this month where it was said Lesnar had told those backstage he was finishing up soon. PWInsider later clarified that report after a variety of rumors began to run rampant.

In regard to Lesnar potentially wrapping up with WWE soon, The Observer stated that all things regarding Lesnar and WWE are being kept “top secret” with only Vince McMahon, Nick Khan, Paul Levesque, and potentially a few others knowing what is really going on with The Beast. It is interesting to see McMahon’s name listed as it seems he is slowly making his way back into the WWE fold in recent weeks.

Lesnar is on a collision course with “The Nigerian Giant” Omos for WWE WrestleMania 39. The two big men have had some fairly epic staredowns and anticipation for the match is arguably higher than many expected going into the big show. The Observer mentioned in their report that the last time Lesnar left WWE for an extended period of time, he put over Drew McIntyre big on his way out the door. If Omos is able to conquer Lesnar at WrestleMania in a similar fashion, it could be a strong indicator that Lesnar is actually wrapping up for the time being.

It is interesting that Lesnar’s WWE WrestleMania 38 opponent, Roman Reigns, could also be taking a break from WWE soon. If the two men do leave WWE TV after WrestleMania, it will leave a big top-name talent void that WWE will need to fill. Luckily, it looks like a few big names could be headed back to the road for WWE soon as Randy Orton will reportedly be in LA next week and Riddle’s WWE suspension could already be over.
