Former Jeff Hardy WWE Rival Teases Attack During Concert

It’s hard to believe but it has been nearly two years since Karrion Kross made his WWE main roster debut, sans Scarlett, and while dressed as a gladiator. The then-bald big man had made waves on the NXT brand for months, where he was a two-time champion, and fans were clamoring to see what he could do on Raw or Smackdown. Kross’ much-anticipated main roster debut has gone on to become a thing of lore, with Vince McMahon removing many of the elements that got him over, and having him lose to Jeff Hardy in less than two minutes.

Kross spoke openly about the loss during his and Scarlett’s brief time away from the company, initially being released in November 2021 before being re-hired in August of last year once Paul “Triple H” Levesque took over the company’s creative reigns. Kross has said that he didn’t mind losing to Hardy but he didn’t like that there was no follow-up and was equally confused by the radical changes that were made to his presentation.

In a fun turn of events, Kross and Hardy reconnected over the weekend, with the WWE brawler crashing one of the AEW high flyer’s musical sets. In a video shared by Kross on Twitter, along with a brief written message, he can be seen sneaking up behind The Attitude Era star on stage with a chair, teasing a blindside attack, only to drop it to his side, laugh, and embrace his former rival.

“Another series is what I want to play,” Kross shared on Twitter. “Another problem I don’t need today. Another choice is what I want to choose Equal we are when time we lose.”

Kross and Scarlett are set to take on AJ Styles and Michin this Friday night on Smackdown in a mixed tag team match. Jeff was recently seen alongside his brother, Matt, on the AEW: Double or Nothing Buy-In, defeating The Firm, freeing Matt from his contract with the stable, and somehow winning the services of Ethan Page.

“Shoulda hit him,” Page responded to Kross’ post on Twitter.
