This past Saturday night, the pro wrestling landscape changed when AEW: Collision went live on TNT for the very first time. The show featured a big main event that included a returning CM Punk tagging with FTR against ROH TV Champion Samoa Joe, Jay White, and Juice Robinson. In the end, CMFTR stood tall to close out the historic evening, and now the stage is set for both Collision and Dynamite to start running all year round.
Along with the launch of Collision have come rumors that AEW could be looking to split their roster in two, creating two distinct brands. AEW President Tony Khan has addressed that speculation stating that while he does not have plans for a hard split between the shows, there will be some wrestlers featured on different shows, along with some crossover. For his part, CM Punk made it clear on Dynamite that he’s a Collision guy, and he wasn’t supposed to be there on Wednesday night.
So, while the future of a brand split remains in flux, Haus of Wrestling thought we would jump the gun by holding an AEW Fantasy Draft of our own! Earlier today, I went live with comedian EJ Cameron on the Haus of Wrestling social platforms, and we drafted two distinct All Elite rosters. I played the role of General Manager while Cameron was responsible for the Dynamite picks.
