Saraya Captures AEW Women’s World Championship At All In

AEW All In has already seen a few titles change hands tonight, with MJF and Adam Cole winning the ROH World Tag Team Championships and HOOK regaining the FTW Championship. The show can add one more title change to its legacy, as Saraya just captured the AEW Women’s World Championship inside Wembley Stadium in front of more than 80,000 fans. She defeated former champion Hikaru Shida, Dr. Britt Baker DMD, and fellow The Outcasts stablemate Toni Storm to pick up the victory.

The match started off hot for the former Paige, as she came to the ring flanked by multiple members of her family to the tune of We Will Rock You by Queen. As many may remember, WWE and Seven Bucks Production produced a feature-length film based on Saraya’s life story a few years back titled Fighting With My Family. However, on this night, her family fought alongside her, even if her mother accidentally ate a punch from Storm in the process.

One notable name in attendance watching over Saraya’s victory is Mercedes Mone, aka former WWE star Sasha Banks. During the Zero Hour pre-show, before the main show action took place, AEW panned to Mone, who was sitting in the audience, taking in the historic occasion. While many expected some kind of confrontation between Mone and the winner of the Fatal Four-Way bout, it never manifested, and Saraya spent her time after the win celebrating with family.
