ROH Tag Team The Righteous Have Signed With AEW

The Righteous seem to have quietly become All Elite recently as the Ring of Honor tag team claim they have signed with the promotion! The duo returned to ROH earlier this year following Vincent’s short stint in IMPACT Wrestling as part of the Honor No More faction and have since added Stu Grayson to their ranks. The Righteous have primarily feuded with The Dark Order in ROH and most recently, made their AEW debut on last week’s Rampage.

One half of the initial team, Dutch, recently made an appearance on the Developmentally Speaking podcast to speak about his time as a developmental talent in FCW from 2010 through to 2011. During the discussion, the conversation moved to his current role in The Righteous across Ring of Honor and All Elite Wrestling, where the former ROH World Six Man Tag Team Champion confirmed he and Vincent had signed with the latter.

“Everything’s going great, couldn’t be better. We’re officially signed with AEW now,” Dutch confirmed. “It’s a big deal for us. We want to create something that people haven’t seen in a long time. I know we’re gonna be getting comparisons to the Wyatt Family and all this and that, but everything’s been done already.

There will never be another Bray Wyatt, nothing will ever compare to him or his creativity or the way that his brain works. Nobody will ever be like him ever again. Like I said, we’re obviously gonna be getting the comparisons but the stuff that we have in mind for our future is brand new and exciting stuff.”

The Righteous initially formed in Ring of Honor back in late-2019 when Vincent, then known as Vinny Marseglia, broke away from the second iteration of The Kingdom led by Matt Taven. Later, Dutch, Bateman and Vita VonStarr joined the group’s ranks and the faction became the last ROH World Six Man Tag Team Champions before Tony Khan’s acquistion of the promotion in March 2021.
