Cardi B Is Down To ‘Perform Or Slap A B-tch’ At WWE WrestleMania 40

Since being taken over by Vince McMahon Jr. in the early 80s, WWE has been on a collision course with pop culture. WWE WrestleMania 1 was a spectacle that saw the likes of Liberace and Muhammad Ali making appearances. In the years to follow, names like Floyd Mayweather, Johnny Knoxville, and Snooki have tried their hand at in-ring action. Other celebrities, like Logan Paul and Bad Bunny, have gone on to become WWE regulars and have more than one match under their belt. One famous name that has been bandied about for years as a possible WWE performer is Cardi B.

In an interview with Peter Rosenberg for 93.7, Cardi addressed whether fans can expect to see her in Philadelphia for WWE WrestleMania 40.

“I would love to attend,” she said. “I don’t know. I don’t know what to do. I don’t know if I have to perform or slap a b-tch, but I want to go. I have to fulfill some type of dream.”

Rosenberg jumped at the opportunity to put Cardi and WWE in touch to make her dream come true. As he noted, she is a lifelong WWE fan and has shared her love for various wrestlers, including Trish Stratus, on social media. She went on to discuss the various wrestlers she had an affinity for growing up.

“It was a couple. Batista was one of my favorites because, you know, he was so handsome,” she said. “I loved Eddie Guerrero; I lie, I steal, I cheat b-tch, yeah. I used to love Booker T, and even when I was little, when The Undertaker used to come out, my dumb ass really thought that he was a ghost. I really thought that was real, that he was coming from the dead.”
