Every Tuesday night, WWE NXT fans are treated to Vic Joseph and two-time WWE Hall of Fame inductee Booker T calling the action on commentary. The men took over the booth in October 2022, following WWE trying out Joseph as a commentator on WWE Raw and a brief stint on 205 Live. Booker has bounced around WWE as a commentator and pre-show panelist for years.
When not behind the WWE NXT commentary table, Booker can often be found at his pro wrestling school in Houston, Reality of Wrestling. ROW is not only a school that has produced some of the current top names in the industry, like Roxanne Perez, but it also produces its own live events. Recently, ROW presented its most attended event ever, drawing more than a thousand fans to the Humble Civic Center just outside Houston.
The six-time World Champion is looking to pack the house once again later this month, as on September 23, ROW will welcome two of NXT’s most exciting stars: Charlie Dempsey and Axiom. They will square off in an NXT Showcase Match.
Dempsey was last seen in NXT action two weeks ago, losing a Global Heritage Cup Invitational Block A match to Butch. This past Tuesday night, Axiom had his chance to take on Butch in Global Heritage Cup Invitational Block A action and fared slightly better than Dempsey did, battling the Brawling Brute to a draw. In Block A, Butch currently leads with three points, Axiom has one, and Dempsey is tied with Tyler Bate with no points.
Reality of Wrestling presents The NeXT Chapter on Saturday, September 23, 2023, from 9300 Emmet F. Lowry Expressway, their new home. Other talents appearing on the show are ROW Heavyweight Champion Matty Ice, ROW Diamonds Division Champion Promise Braxton, ROW Television Champion Rudy Garza, ROW Texas Champion Ryan Davidson, Gigi Rey, Isaac Morales, and Josiah Jean.
