Elias Issues First Statement Since WWE Release

Today has been a somber one for WWE fans, as the company has gone about the major main roster and NXT roster cuts that Haus of Wrestling said last week were expected. Some of the names that are no longer with the company include Mustafa Ali, Dolph Ziggler, Shelton Benjamin, and Elias. The latter of which has taken to social media to deliver his first comments since parting ways with WWE.

“From Drifting onto the scene,” he began. “To WrestleMania with John Cena & The Undertaker.. To Millions around the world for years Walking With Elias.. A #1 ITunes Album & To being my own younger brother (ZEKE) while traveling the world.. It’s been a blast. God is Good!”

Elias signed with WWE in 2014 and was largely portrayed as a musician, regularly holding concerts at events with his guitar. In 2022, he was briefly repackaged as Ezekiel, the younger brother of Elias, but the gimmick was largely panned and eventually scrapped altogether. He was left a free agent after the 2023 WWE Draft. During his time with the company, he won the WWE 24/7 Championship four times, on top of a 2020 WWE Slammy for Musical Performance of the Year.

Haus of Wrestling sends its best to everyone affected by today’s releases.
