Brooke Hogan Is Putting Distance Between Herself And Family

This past weekend, WWE Hall of Fame inductee Hulk Hogan married Sky Daily several months after proposing to her. TMZ reports that it was a small ceremony that took place in Clearwater, FL. It was also noted that Brooke Hogan, Hulk’s daughter, was unable to make the ceremony on such short notice, but that does not appear to be the case.

Just now on Instagram, Brooke shared the following post, explaining why she was not present at her father’s third wedding ceremony.

“As many of you know, I value my privacy, but unfortunately, a lot of media outlets are making assumptions as to why I did not attend my father’s third wedding,” she began. “Instead of leaving it to speculation, I decided it’s better to shut it all down here. As we all experience this with our own families, the dynamics of a family unit continuously change over the years.

“With that being said, my family has experienced a LOT of change. With all of it happening in the public eye, I’ve had to learn how to best navigate those changes as they come, which has been difficult to say the least. For my own journey to healing and happiness, I have chosen to create some distance between myself and my family, and am focusing on people and things that heal my heart and align with my own personal beliefs, goals, and values.”

Hulk’s last match took place back in 2012 during a TNA Maximum IMPACT tour show in the UK. In the years since he has fallen out and then back into favor with WWE following racist comments he was caught saying on a sex tape that was leaked by Gawker. Hulk successfully sued the outlet for releasing the video without his consent, and the case is the subject of the documentary Nobody Speak.
