Becky Lynch Reportedly Not Cleared To Compete On WWE Raw

This past Saturday night, Becky Lynch defended her WWE NXT Women’s Championship against Tiffany Stratton in an Extreme Rules match at No Mercy. It was a brutal bout that saw everything short of the kitchen sink get used, but in the end, The Man stood tall, reclaiming her championship gold. With Lynch able to travel between brands with her title, WWE currently has her scheduled to take on Tegan Nox tonight on Raw, but it appears things may not go as scheduled.

Fightful reported this past weekend that during her Extreme Rules match against Stratton, Lynch suffered a laceration on her arm that required eleven stitches. In an update on their report, they are now noting that Lynch has not been cleared to compete on tonight’s episode of WWE Monday Night Raw. WWE has yet to confirm that the match between Lynch and Nox is off, but it would appear an announcement could be impending.

Also announced for tonight’s episode of Raw is:

  • Gunther and Tommaso Ciampa’s WWE Intercontinental Championship match contract signing
  • Nia Jax taking on Shayna Baszler
  • Drew McIntyre explaining his recent action on MizTV
  • Xavier Woods and Ivar battling in singles action
