Jade Cargill Teases Association With Paul Heyman

After first making her onscreen debut over the weekend at WWE Fastlane, Jade Cargill appeared again last night during WWE NXT. The show went head-to-head against a Tuesday edition of AEW Dynamite, and by bringing in some of the company’s biggest stars, WWE was able to win the ratings battle handily. One of the visitors to NXT last night was Paul Heyman, and it seems The Bloodline manager was looking to make some connections.

Cargill posted a photo to X this evening of herself and Heyman posing together backstage. While Cargill strikes her standard dominant pose, Heyman can be seen eyeing the incoming star impishly. Over the years, Heyman has served as an onscreen manager for some of the biggest names in the industry, and a possible association between Cargill and The Bloodline’s Wise Man is an exciting prospect, to say the least. Heyman’s current place in WWE sees him struggling to both keep The Bloodline at the top of the food chain and keep Roman Reigns, the Tribal Chief, satisfied.

Like her Fastlane appearance, Cargill was only seen on NXT briefly. The former college basketball player was seen exiting a white SUV and introducing herself to Shawn Michaels, who welcomed Cargill backstage. Cargill is coming off an impressive run with AEW, where she had a lengthy winning streak and became the first person to win the TBS Championship, which she held for 508 days.

Cargill lost that title back in May at AEW Double or Nothing before taking several months off. She reappeared in AEW last month, challenging Kris Statlander to a rematch for the championship. After losing that bout, the two embraced in the ring, and word emerged that Cargill was likely making the move over to WWE.
