Naomi Returns To WWE; More Women’s WWE Royal Rumble Surprise Entrants

Tonight’s WWE Royal Rumble takes place from Tropicana Field in Tampa, Florida. It will feature both a men’s and women’s Royal Rumble match, with the winners getting to choose which champion they would like to face at WWE WrestleMania 40. Kicking off tonight’s show is the women’s Rumble match, and we will be updating this post as the match goes along with each surprise entrant that comes through the curtain.

The first big surprise entrant of the night is Naomi, known outside of WWE as Trinity. She entered the match at number two, starting it off with Natalya, who was the first entrant. She infamously walked out on WWE, alongside Sasha Banks, now Mercedes Mone, after a creative dispute over the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships.

The next surprise entrant was Impact Wrestling Knockout Champion Jordynne Grace, who entered at number five. She actually won the title from Naomi in her final match with the promotion. Once in the ring, Grace embraced Naomi before the two began battling others in the match. Grace was eventually eliminated by Bianca Belair, who hit her with her TKO finisher on the apron, causing her to roll to the floor.

As Valhalla made her way to the ring in the number twenty-four spot, R-Truth’s music hit, and he made his way to the ring. He was quickly met by Nia Jax, who threw him out of the ring. WWE Raw General Manager Adam Pearce made his way to the ringside area to chastize Truth for entering the contest and then told Valhalla to get in the ring. She, too, was met by Jax and quickly eliminated.

WWE NXT star Roxanne Perez entered the match at number twenty-seven. This is her second WWE Royal Rumble match, as she competed in last year’s women’s Rumble.

Jade Cargill entered the match in the number twenty-eight spot, making her official WWE in-ring debut. She immediately faced off with Nia Jax, who has been dominant for the entire women’s Rumble. The two exchanged blows, with Cargill eventually hoisting Jax onto her shoulders and dropping her with a modified spinebuster. She then lifted Jax and dropped her over the top rope in an insane display of strength.

At number twenty-nine, WWE NXT star Tiffany Stratton entered the match and made her official main roster debut.

Liv Morgan made her surprise return to WWE as the final entrant in the match. She has not competed since July 2023, when she was written off WWE TV to deal with a shoulder injury.
