Jim Ross has been the voice of pro wrestling for many decades. While many fondly remember him from his time alongside Jerry “The King” Lawler on WWE Raw during The Attitude Era, a younger crop of fans are enjoying his work most weeks as part of AEW. Sadly, in recent years, Ross has been battling cancer outside the ring and let fans know earlier this month that he had undergone successful cancer surgery on his right hip.
Ross took to social media earlier today to share the following update.
“Another successful surgery hopefully,” he began. “Need your prayers.”
Ross has not provided any further details on what surgery he underwent or will be undergoing.
