Big WWE Raw Viewership Spike For Cody Rhodes & Seth Rollins

This past Monday night on WWE Raw, Cody Rhodes and WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth “Freaking” Rollins once again engaged in a promo segment. Unlike their previous verbal exchanges, this one took on a less adversarial tone due to how the WWE WrestleMania XL Kickoff event played out. Now that The Rock and Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns are aligned, Rollins wants Rhodes to know that he can be his shield to help even the odds against The Bloodline’s top brass.

Wrestlenomics reports that Rhodes and Rollins promo exchange, which took place during WWE Raw’s fifth quarter-hour, drew an average overall audience of 2,130,000 viewers, with about 934,000 of those in the coveted P18 – 49 demo. The highest for the show in both categories.

For comparison, the fourth-quarter hour drew an average overall audience of 1,860,000 viewers, with about 794,000 in the P18 – 49 demographic. The sixth-quarter hour, which included the conclusion of Rhodes and Rollins’ in-ring segment, maintained a large audience, drawing an average overall audience of 1,910,000 viewers, with about 833,000 in the P18 – 49 demos, the second-highest quarter-hour of the show in both categories.

This week’s episode of WWE Raw drew an average overall audience of 1,747,000 viewers, with a .59 rating in the P18 – 49 demo. Despite the bump from Rhodes and Rollins, the episode saw an 8% drop in average overall and 3% in P18 – 49 demo viewership from the week before.
