AEW TNT Champion Wardlow had some idiot break into his rental car last night. The War Daddy announced late last night on Twitter that the thief took off with his gear, boots, and championship
In the video, Wardlow can be seen showing off the inside of the rental car which is now covered in broken glass. He sarcastically thanked whoever it was that broke into the car and, “took absolutely everything from me.” While taking in the burglary, the big man took a moment to reflect on his AEW TNT title defense taking place tonight on Dynamite and wondered if he was going to, “have to beat the shit out of Hobbs in what I’m wearing right now.”
The theft does not appear to have taken place near the site of tonight’s Dynamite as Wardlow assured fans he would make it to Sacramento for his title defense against Powerhouse Hobbs.
Wardlow won the AEW TNT title this past Sunday night at Revolution with his victory over then-champion, Samoa Joe. Hobbs won the Face Of The Revolution ladder match last Wednesday on Dynamite, earning an AEW TNT title match and setting the stage for tonight’s battle of the titans.
Wardlow closed out his video noting that whoever did break into his car and took off with his stuff is lucky that they were not caught in the act. In an ominous warning to the perpetrator, or possible future perpetrators, he flatly stated, “Your jaw would be as shattered as this glass is.”
