WWE 2K23 made it official today, Xavier Woods and former WWE star Tyler Breeze will be playable General Manager characters in the upcoming game’s MYGM mode. You won’t even have to enter Up Up Down Down to unlock them!
The two men, who have become known for hosting and competing on their UpUpDownDown YouTube channel, will be featured as GM options alongside legendary authority figures and WWE Hall of Famers Eric Bischoff, Kurt Angle, and Mick Foley. Players can not only choose which GM they want reigning in their chaos, they can also decide which brand that chaos will be happening on. Alongside WWE’s traditional Raw and Smackdown brands, NXT 2.0 and WCW will now be options to choose from as well.
MyGM mode allows players to draft a roster, manage budgets, sign free agents, choose various match types, arena locations, production elements, and more with the goal being to beat a rival GM in weekly ratings battles. Some of the new match stipulations include Triple Threat, Fatal 4-Way, Steel Cage, Backstage Brawl, Falls Count Anywhere, Submission, Iron Man, Last Man Standing, and Tornado Tag. So for all you fans who ever wanted to play Eric Bischoff as the WCW GM and book even crazier matches than we saw in 1999, go right ahead.
Other features that were announced today include the ability to win Slammy awards, which is awesome, and rotate your roster based on the cost to re-sign talent and what the morale of the locker room is like. The full release with more information can be found HERE.
