Survivor Series will stream live exclusively on Peacock in the U.S. and WWE Network everywhere else.

The 2022 WWE Survivor Series premium live event was WarGames themed and featured both a men’s and women’s match. On the women’s side Bianca Belair, along with her team consisting of Alexa Bliss, Asuka, Mia Yim, and Becky Lynch, defeated Damage CTRL’s team of Bayley, Dakota Kai, Iyo Sky, Nikki Cross, and Rhea Ripley. In the main event, The Bloodline reigned victorious over The Brawling Brutes, Drew McIntyre, and Kevin Owens.

Since WWE is not advertising the event with a WarGames theme, it is possible that we will be treated to the return of classic Survivor Series elimination-style matches.

The last time WWE hosted a premium live event in Chicago was Hell In A Cell last June, also at the Allstate Arena. That show was headlined by the classic Cody Rhodes vs Seth “Freaking” Rollins Hell In A Cell match. Just hours before the brutal bout was set to take place, Rhodes tore his pectoral muscle, resulting in massive bruising but undaunted, he continued on and delivered a performance that was nothing less than heroic.
