The Young Bucks Accept FTR’s Challenge For AEW All In Match

After primarily competing in multi-man matches alongside Kenny Omega and “Hangman” Adam Page, the Young Bucks made their triumphant return to the AEW tag team division on this week’s Dynamite. They faced off against the legendary Hardy Boyz in a dream match, but the biggest moment happened after the match when the Bucks addressed FTR and their challenge for AEW All In at Wembley Stadium.

After facing off in Ring of Honor and a few indie promotions over the years, Matt and Nick Jackson finally wrestled Matt and Jeff Hardy in an AEW ring. The two acclaimed teams set out to prove who is the better brother tag team, and though they were evenly matched, it was the Elite delegation that emerged on top tonight.

Once the bell rang to end the match, the Bucks stood tall, took to the microphone, and called out FTR. After the AEW Tag Team Champions entered the ring to a loud ovation, both duos stood toe-to-toe for a few moments before Nick Jackson answered the challenge made on “Collision” by simply stating, “All in.”

Now that this match is official, this will mark the third time the two teams meet in an AEW ring. The first match saw the Bucks win the tag titles from Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler at Full Gear 2020. With the ROH and AAA tag titles on the line, the second match took place in the summer of 2022 in Boston, Massachusetts, and saw FTR come out on top. With the rubber match set to take place on August 27, 2023 at the biggest show in AEW history, both teams will be bringing their A games to try to have their hands raised in victory at the end of the night.
