CM Punk Will Likely Not Appear At AEW All Out – Exclusive

AEW President Tony Khan just wrapped up his All Out media call, and right off the bat, he was asked about CM Punk and if he will be at the big Chicago show this weekend. Khan was coy about the situation, noting that an internal investigation is still ongoing and that he hopes to have more information soon. Later, he was pressed about whether fans would know about Punk’s status for the show before Sunday, and the AEW President said he hoped that was the case.

Haus of Wrestling has learned that Punk and Khan have still not been in direct communication since All In this past Sunday and that Punk appearing as part of All Out and Collision this weekend is unlikely. It is always possible that something will happen in the next forty-eight hours, but it does not feel like fans should get their hopes up in regard to the “Real AEW World Champion” popping up at The United Center.

As it stands, Punk and Jack Perry are both suspended by AEW following a backstage altercation that occurred shortly before All In began on pay-per-view. Earlier today, it was reported that Wembley Stadium cameras captured video footage of the actual incident. The footage, along with testimony from witnesses, is being gathered and weighed as part of AEW’s continued investigation into the matter.

I will be in the media scrum this Sunday night after All Out, representing Haus of Wrestling. Be sure to check the site and our social media platforms regularly all weekend long for our coverage of AEW All Out, WWE Payback, and the continued situation between CM Punk and AEW.
