Jimmy Uso Costs Jey Uso And Cody Rhodes Tag Titles On WWE Raw

The Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championship has changed hands once again. The main event of tonight’s WWE Raw saw Finn Balor and Damian Priest win back the titles they lost to Jey Uso and Cody Rhodes at WWE Fastlane earlier this month. The match included interference from Dominik Mysterio, who stayed ringside for most of the action until Sami Zayn arrived to dispatch him, and another notable WWE star – Jimmy Uso. Just when it looked as though Jey had things won, his brother Jimmy appeared out of nowhere, hitting him with a superkick and allowing Balor to pick up the pinfall.

The feud between The Judgment Day and Rhodes, Jey Uso, and Zayn has been one the primary focal points of Raw for more than two months now. Prior to that, Jey had been engaged in a heated feud against his cousin Roman Reigns, leader of The Bloodline. That feud came to a temporary end at WWE SummerSlam, when Jimmy returned to cost Jey a title match against Reigns. After confronting his family members on the episode of WWE SmackDown after SummerSlam, Jey took some time off before making his way over to Raw.

Over on SmackDown, Jimmy Uso has been working to get back into the good graces of the rest of The Bloodline after his loyalty wavered for a time. Even after costing Jey his SummerSlam match, Jimmy was hesitant to rejoin The Bloodline. Over time, however, Jimmy has renewed his relationship with his other brother, Solo Sikoa.

This past Friday, Reigns returned to SmackDown but initially found himself preoccupied with John Cena and LA Knight. In the show’s main event, Jey and Rhodes successfully defended the tag titles in the main event against Grayson Waller and Austin Theory, with Reigns, Jimmy Uso, and Sikoa coming face-to-face with Jey and Rhodes after the match. While Jimmy and Sikoa were focused on Jey, Reigns made it clear that Rhodes was his top priority as the show went off the air.
