Becky Lynch is a six-time world champion, has performed in the main event of WWE WrestleMania, and is slowly but surely building up her acting filmography. However, it’s impossible for one person to be great at everything, and during a recent appearance on Celebrity Jeopardy!, Lynch revealed that trivia-based game shows aren’t exactly her forte. According to The Jeopardy! Fan on X, Lynch is the first person to not give a single correct response through the 60 clues in the main section of the game.
Rather than making many incorrect guesses, Lynch failed to successfully buzz in, with the Jeopardy! buzzer having a reputation for being somewhat difficult to work with. At one point, host Ken Jennings did ask Lynch to take a guess on a clue after all three players neglected to buzz in, and Lynch gave a correct response there. Unfortunately, it wasn’t an official part of the game and no money was awarded. To be fair to Lynch, the questions in the episode seemed more difficult than is typical in Celebrity Jeopardy!, which has been notorious for its easy questions in the past.
Because she was playing for charity, Lynch advanced into the Final Jeopardy! round despite her lack of responses in the game. Lynch did successfully answer the Final Jeopardy! clue, at least able to finish with a correct response. In the game, Lynch was raising money for Connor’s Cure, a foundation that raises funds for pediatric cancer, named after WWE fan Connor Michalek.
Thankfully, Lynch took the Jeopardy! loss in good fun. The WWE star posted to X and commented on her performance in the episode by saying, “I never stop making history.” Additionally, Lynch can walk away with another kind of victory. The episode, which also featured Macauley Culkin and Rachel Dratch, drew 4.2 million viewers, making it the highest-rated episode of the season thus far.
With Celebrity Jeopardy! in her rearview mirror, Lynch must now be focused on entering the Women’s WarGames match this Saturday at WWE Survivor Series. Lynch joins Bianca Belair, Charlotte Flair, and Shotzi to face Bayley, IYO SKY, Dakota Kai, and Kairi Sane of Damage CTRL.
