This past weekend, the Buffalo Bills barely squeezed out a victory over the Kansas City Chiefs, picking up a 20 to 17 win. As usual for Chiefs’ games these days, the big news coming out of the game had less to do with the outcome and more to do with music megastar Taylor Swift sitting in a VIP suite cheering on her boyfriend, Travis Kelce. Their romance has been the subject of conversation since it became public and is arguably the hottest story on the planet. Many fans were caught off guard during the game when WWE star Baron Corbin shared a selfie of himself, Swift, and others from the VIP suite yesterday.
“Come back crew let’s go! #ChiefsKingdom,” he wrote.
Haus of Wrestling has learned that Corbin was in the suite and got the selfie with Swift because he is friends with Kelce, who he was there to cheer on. We were also told that Corbin taking off for the game and eventual selfie with Swift was not something widely known at Deadline.
Corbin is a former NFL star who signed with the Colts in 2009. He was roommates with occasional WWE commentator Pat McAfee during his time on the team. McAfee shared a tweet responding to Corbin’s selfie with Swift earlier this morning.
“From ‘Bum Ass Corbin’ to hanging with billionaires in suites,” he wrote. “What a come up.”
Corbin competed in the main event of WWE NXT Deadline the night before the game, unsuccessfully challenging Ilja Dragunov for the NXT Championship. You can find highlights from the hard-hitting match courtesy of the video below.
