The Los Angeles premiere of The Iron Claw occurred earlier this week, and AEW World Champion MJF was front and center on the red carpet. The loudmouthed star plays Lance Von Erich in the film, but many of his scenes are cut, and his role is hardly noticeable when you watch the movie. He also serves as an Executive Producer for the biopic. Still, on yesterday’s episode of Rumor & Innuendo, Chavo Guerrero, an EP on the film, told me he was unsure what Friedman did in the role.
Also present on the red carpet at the event was fellow AEW star CJ Perry. Perry, being the content creator that she is, got a brief video of Friedman and WWE star Liv Morgan interacting before the screening. She quipped to them that they looked like a cute couple.
“Thank you so much, I appreciate that,” Friedman replied.
“I’m just here to support him,” Morgan added.
“I’m just here to start more dating rumors,” Friedman said. “That’s about it.”
Friedman’s real-life relationship with former MLW and Impact interviewer Alicia Atout has become public knowledge in recent weeks. The two have frequently shared photos on social media, which is why Friedman merely joked about dating Morgan, who is rumored to be in a relationship with Bo Dallas.
