Kenny Omega Is Out Of AEW Action Indefinitely

Kenny Omega has shared the following on X, announcing he is out of action for AEW indefinitely following years of being in pain.

“I can’t really sugar coat this,” he writes. “I’m out indefinitely. I tried to keep pushing past the pain for as long as I could until it became too much. Luckily doctors caught me when they did. I’ll be here so in the mean time, please enjoy wrestling!”

Omega and Chris Jericho, collectively known as The Golden Jets, appeared on AEW Dynamite this past Wednesday. During their appearance, they engaged in a promo battle with Ricky Starks and Big Bill, and a future shot at the AEW World Tag Team Championships was teased. Omega is an Executive Vice President of AEW and has been influential in their video game division.

Haus of Wrestling sends its best to Omega as he recovers.
