Potential Future Member Of The Bloodline Hangs Backstage At AEW

Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns and The Bloodline have reigned supreme in WWE for over three years. Outside of Sami Zayn and Paul Heyman, every member has had ties to the Anao’i and Fatu families. That familiar DNA is why the legendary faction has been named The Bloodline. Reigns, the leader of the group, is the uncle of Jimmy and Jey Uso, the latter of whom is not currently part of the group. Solo Sikoa, the most recent addition, is also Reigns’ nephew and the younger brother of Jimmy and Jey.

Zilla Fatu is another pro wrestler who shares ties to SmackDown’s top act. Fatu is just getting his career started and parted ways with Booker T’s Reality of Wrestling earlier this year. He is a cousin of Jimmy, Jey, and Solo, and is also a first cousin once removed to Reigns, which is a mouthful but keeps him in the formal bloodline.

Earlier today, Fatu took to social media and revealed that he was recently backstage at AEW. While not explicitly stated, it appears the photos were from Dynamite this past Wednesday night, which took place in Dallas. Based on his X profile, Fatu still lives in Houston, where Reality of Wrestling is based.

“WHAT A NIGHT,” he wrote. “#MORETHANBLESSED

Along with his message, four photos are attached to his post. He can be seen posing with Daniel Garcia, Isaiah Kassidy, Nick Wayne, Chris Jericho, and AEW President Tony Khan in the images.

Khan looks very happy to be alongside Fatu in the photo, and with his TV rights negotiations looming, it is possible he sees an opportunity. The young star has expressed his desire to join WWE and be part of its lucrative The Bloodline stable. If Khan and AEW were able to snag a potential Bloodline member away, it’s possible he could find his own success with Fatu.
