WWE has released the following announcing that R-Truth will take on The Judgment Day’s JD McDonagh tonight on WWE Raw in a Christmas-themed match.
After The Creed Brothers joined him in a six-person brawl against The Judgment Day last week, R-Truth will look to give himself the gift of victory when he goes one-on-one against JD McDonagh in Miracle on 34th Street Fight. Who will pick up the W in the festive free-for-all? Find out tonight at 8/7 C on USA.
R-Truth’s last WWE match occurred on the November 1, 2022, episode of NXT, where he lost to Grayson Waller by referee stoppage. The match had to be stopped because Truth tore his quad and could not continue; he has been off TV rehabbing for the last year. He returned at WWE Survivor Series in a backstage comedy sketch sponsored by Ruffles.
Since returning to WWE TV, he has been a fixture on Raw, where he has attempted to join The Judgment Day to mixed success. Tonight’s Miracle on 34th Street Fight should give fans a good idea of where Truth’s future with faction is headed.
