British Independent Wrestler Kurtis Chapman Passes Away Aged 26

Revolution Pro Wrestling has shared the tragic news that Kurtis Chapman, better known as ‘Mad Kurt’ in recent years, has passed away at just 26 years old.

Chapman made his name in Rev Pro, debuting for the London-based promotion back in 2014 at the age of 16, and has since gone on to compete in major promotions like GCW, PROGRESS, and OTT. He gained popularity over the last few years thanks to his ‘Keyboard Warrior’ persona, in which he would act tough and make sarcastic, humourous tweets on X/Twitter only to get his comeuppance inside the ring when his opponents easily overpowered him.

Chapman competed in the final match of his 9-year career this past June at Wrestling Resurgence’s The Day Resurgence Stood Still. There, he successfully defended the promotion’s Arthouse title in a four-way match against Chocolate Thunder, Rayne Leverkusen, and Skye Smitson. He is perhaps best known for his Rev Pro match against Will Ospreay back in July 2022 due to a clip of Ospreay brutalising Chapman going viral on social media.

Haus of Wrestling sends their condolences to the family and friends of Kurtis Chapman at this tragic time.
