Top AEW Star Trains With Jade Cargill, Natalya, & More

WWE star Natalya has not just set records; she has set Guinness Book of World Records records. Some of those include the most appearances on pay-per-view for a female WWE wrestler, the most matches for a female WWE wrestler, the most wins by a female WWE wrestler, the most WWE Wrestlemania appearances, the most WWE RAW matches, and the most WWE Smackdown matches. It comes as no surprise that the legendary pro wrestler has begun to parlay her experience in pro wrestling into teaching younger stars like Jade Cargill.

Last night, Natalya shared photos on her Instagram Stories showing several wrestlers practicing under her and her husband TJ Wilson’s guidance. Several WWE stars were spotted getting in on the session, including Angelo Dawkins, B-Fab, Odyssey Jones, and the newly signed Cargill. Many fans were quick to point out how improved Cargill looked in the ring and that she seemed to be practicing moves similar to Natalya’s uncle, Owen Hart.

Another non-WWE name in the mix caught fans by surprise: AEW World Tag Team Champion Ricky Starks. Starks and Big Bill defeated FTR for the tag titles on the October 7, 2023, episode of AEW Collision, and their last title defense took place at Full Gear a month later, where they won a fatal four-way ladder match. In videos shared by Natalya, Starks can be seen in somewhat of an inter-promotional match tease rolling around with The Street Profits’ Dawkins.

Starks begins the exchange by dropping Dawkins with a series of running clotheslines before hitting a suplex. The two then battle back and forth until Starks shoots Dawkins into the corner turnbuckle and delivers a flying back elbow. Starks finishes out the sequence with another suplex.

Starks has never been shy when it comes to espousing his love for Cargill, whom he congratulated after she signed with WWE. He has also not been shy about praising another former AEW talent turned WWE star, CM Punk. Following Punk’s termination, Starks has since said that he feels The Second City Savior was a great rival who showed him respect in AEW.
