Roman Reigns Will Defend In Fatal 4-Way At WWE Royal Rumble

The main event of tonight’s episode of WWE SmackDown featured AJ Styles, LA Knight, and Randy Orton battling to become the number-one contender for the Undisputed WWE World Championship, held by Roman Reigns. Toward the end of the match, Styles went for his signature Phenomenal Forearm but was caught mid-air by Orton with an RKO OUTTA NOWHERE! When Orton went for the pin, it was interrupted by Knight, who was on the outside and pulled the referee by the leg.

As all three men lay strewn about, Reigns’ music hit, and he made his way to the ring flanked by Solo Sikoa and Jey Jimmy Uso. The Bloodline beat down all three competitors before Sikoa grabbed the steel stairs and planted Orton with a big shot to the head. Uso proceeded to tear the commentary table apart while Reigns “Quarterbacked,” as Corey Graves put it.

Reigns then picked up Styles and dropped him with a massive powerbomb before rolling him out of the ring. Knight was the next man to be forced into action and was met with a Superman Punch and spear from The Tribal Chief. Sikoa and Uso brought Orton into the ring last, just feet away from SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis, who was screaming for them to stop. Orton was held on his feet while Reigns dropped him with another forceful spear.

Aldis was then seen ringside with Heyman informing him that Reigns can thank himself. Why, you may ask? Because he just secured himself a fatal four-way match at the WWE Royal Rumble that will see him take on Styles, Knight, and Orton.
