Tonight’s WWE NXT came to a close with a confrontation between WWE Hall of Fame inductee Undertaker and Bron Breakker. Following his main event loss to Carmelo Hayes, Breakker went about attacking his long-time foe before being interrupted by The Deadman. As “American Badass,” by problematic American hip-hop rock star Kid Rock, blared through the WWE Performance Center, ‘Taker made his way to the ring to confront the second-generation star.
Once in the ring, Undertaker decided to share some words with Breakker before being told there was only room for one “Badass” in WWE, him. This prompted Undertaker to drop the former WWE NXT Champion with a chokeslam, before letting him know he should not have meddled with the legend. This brought a close to the night, as the cameras stopped rolling shortly after.
Undertaker’s NXT appearance came on the heels of Cody Rhodes announcing two WWE NXT tournaments and acting as general manager for the night. John Cena, Paul Heyman, and LA Knight also made appearances throughout the night.
