Tomorrow night, WWE NXT will air its latest televised special: New Year’s Evil. One of the most anticipated matches on the card was to see the newly formed No Quarter Catch Club taking on The LWO’s Joaquin Wilde and Cruz Del Toro, along with WWE NXT North American Champion Dragon Lee. Unfortunately, it looks as if the match is going to have to be altered based on the following social media post from Lee.
“Feliz año nuevo!” he wrote. “Sad news to kick off the year, but due to visa issues I am unable to leave Mexico right now. Por eso, I will miss @WWENXT New Years Evil… But the LWO has a big surprise for the NQCC and the NXT Universe tomorrow night.”
Haus of Wrestling is working to verify whether Lee’s update is legitimate or part of a storyline that sees him surprise fans tomorrow night.
